Diary of a CEO - Our Dopamine Addictions Have Made Us Soft and The "American Dream" is at Risk.

The honest truth is emotional, physical and mental fragility are the norm in American society - if America is going to persist as a strong, reputable nation, Americans must regain their resiliency.

Dr. Lembke and Steven discuss the fact that America is a fragile nation with a dopamine crisis.

Our ability as Americans to create our own destiny requires we be resilient in every aspect of our lives - it’s a big part of what makes us American.

We’ve been bombarded with the word “resilient” and it’s been over-used to convince Americans it’s nothing to be concerned about.

This blind spot is a wake up call - dopamine is our most basic of physiological responses and governs the way we participate in our everyday lives.

Dr. Lembke’s one of the top in her field - and affirms what Steven believes…we’ve gone soft.

When you’re soft, you’re vulnerable - to any sort of adversity in your life.

There’s a lot of adversity now and rapid change means there’s more to come.

Pause, Prepare and Participate! sheds light on ways to address this.
